Fifty human-sized figures made out of waxed cardboard were fastened onto the larger trees in the city of Stockholm very late one night in a fast and cold secret action. Next morning the inhabitants were surprised by the sudden sight of white shadows climbing up the trees, looking for shelter.

The figures appeared to hang suspended in the mid-air in a frozen leap from the snow covered ground. They where placed in groups in different locations spreading over the Stockholm area. No information was given to the media nor any clues about the nature and purpose of our intervention. It remained pure in its form and intention, for the pleasure of its pale light and monumental fragility.
